テクノロジーで農業課題を解決するスタートアップ、AGRIST株式会社（本社：宮崎県新富町、以下「AGRIST」）は、経済産業省と森ビル株式会社が主導するシリコンバレーのスタートアップ支援拠点「Japan Innovation Campus（以下、JIC）」への入居が決まりましたことをお知らせいたします。
AGRISTは、官民一体のスタートアップ支援プログラム「J-Startup」企業として、日本国内の深刻な農業の担い手不足を解決するためのロボット開発に尽力してまいりました。とりわけ、世界的な農業担い手不足および人件費高騰を背景に、収穫ロボットの需要は拡大しており、その導入促進は喫緊の課題となっています。
この度のJIC採択は、国内事業をより強固なものにするための「グローバル戦略データの収集」と、将来的な世界進出に向けた「投資家との対話」を目的とした重要なステップです。2026年3月より現地での活動を開始し、日本の精密なものづくり技術や精神を、世界基準のソリューションへと進化させるための土台を構築します。そこで得られた知見は国内の農業現場へ還元してまいります。

The Japanese government aims to increase startup investment to 10 trillion yen by 2027. Having been selected as a Phase 4 member for JIC-a designation reserved for startups with high growth potential in the U.S. market-AGRIST will now focus on identifying specific local needs in California’s agricultural sector.
